Tom Cahill serves as President of Henick-Lane In this capacity, Tom provides oversight of all operations to ensure clients are being provided with high-performance solutions for mechanical / HVAC installations in fast-track tenant fit outs as well as large-scale projects. He also oversees the Special Projects division, which specializes in high efficiency equipment replacements, design and upgrades. Working alongside his executive team, he establishes the company’s strategic direction, helps plan its implementation, and communicates its requirements and goals to the rest of the company. He also makes the policy decisions that guide an array of project activities, including sales and marketing, pre-construction activities, estimating, project management, and safety. His top priority is to ensure that every mechanical system installation project meets every client’s highest expectations while providing optimum operating performance and value.
Before taking his current post, Tom was Vice President of Construction where he was responsible for both sales and operations on projects ranging from less than $100,000 to over $20,000,000. For more than 17 years, Tom has been involved in the successful completion of projects in commercial office buildings, hospitals, laboratories, hotels, and very high-end residential buildings, as well as malls. He has developed exceptional relationships with owners, architects, engineers, general contractors, and vendors across the N.Y. Metropolitan area.
Tom earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from St. Joseph’s College. He has also graduated from the MCAA Institute for Project Management held at the University of Texas in Austin. He is a LEED GA and has been an active member in both ASHRAE and SMACNA over the years.
